📊What is the total $VOTE supply?
6,601,262,000 tokens (6 decimals, USDC-compatible). This number symbolically reflects Bulgaria's 6.6 million registered voters at a 1000:1 ratio. The supply is fixed and cannot be inflated.
🔍What is the source of truth for market resolution?
All markets resolve based exclusively on official data from the Central Election Commission (CIK) published at results.cik.bg. No exit polls, media projections, or unofficial counts are used. Markets resolve within 7 days after CIK publishes final results.
💰What are the fees?
There is a 2% trading fee on all predictions. This fee covers the gasless transaction costs (we pay all blockchain fees on your behalf) and platform maintenance. There are no withdrawal fees, no hidden costs.
⛓️Which blockchain is used?
TurnoutBG operates on Polygon (formerly Matic), an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution. All transactions are recorded on-chain and can be verified on Polygonscan. We chose Polygon for its low fees, fast transactions, and environmental sustainability.
🎁What happens if turnout exceeds 55%?
If voter turnout exceeds 55%, the Democracy Dividend (660 million $VOTE) automatically distributes proportionally among all participants with active predictions. This is a protocol-level reward for civic mobilization success.
